Nozzles - Cost-efficient, precise
As products get steadily smaller, the challenge to industry gets bigger in terms of cost efficiency and the smarter use of resources. Smaller and smaller amounts of adhesives, oils, greases, pastes and a multitude of other media have to be measured out and applied in a process-safe manner, in precise quantities positions – and cycle times are getting shorter. But micano has solutions. Jet nozzles A jet nozzle is a nozzle with a single hole through which flow is optimised. Typical features include hole diameters of 30my and above, and aspect ratios (length/Ø) of 10 and above, produced mainly in stainless steel. These nozzles are used mostly for applying, dosing and dispensing liquids such as adhesives, greases, pastes, oils and solutions. Two-substance nozzles Two-substance atomisers use pressurised gas to atomise liquids. The nozzle combines the liquid with the energy-carrying gas, thereby creating a spray. Nanosprays and viscous swirls can be produced, with varying media properties and nozzle geometries.
